Requirements

Deep expertise in data protection, including enterprise backup and recovery solutions like Veritas NetBackup and/or Cohesity DataProtect
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, enterprise storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS)
Experience with emerging AI/ML technologies in the context of data management or security (a plus)
Strong network and credibility within the Japan tech market
Ability to engage at the CTO/CIO level as a trusted technical advisor
Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as needed (based in major cities in Japan)

Responsibilities

Engage directly with senior customer executives (CTOs, CIOs, and other business leaders) as a trusted advisor, understanding their strategic objectives and aligning Cohesity’s solutions to achieve their business goals
Uncover and drive new customer opportunities by providing expert sales and technical guidance, articulating Cohesity’s technology and value proposition to business and technical audiences, and identifying customer pain points
Architect and design Cohesity data management solutions tailored to each client’s environment, enabling seamless integration into on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
Communicate Cohesity’s vision and technology through engaging product demonstrations, workshops, technical deep-dives, whiteboard sessions, presentations, white papers, and proposals
Lead and execute proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, managing from scoping and setup to successful completion to showcase the value, performance, and reliability of Cohesity’s platform
