Requirements

Candidates should possess a strong educational background, preferably in computer science or engineering, and proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector. Solid technical experience with Windows, Linux, and OSX operating systems is required, along with experience in installing, replacing, configuring, and optimizing network hubs, routers, and switches. Familiarity with perimeter security devices such as Firewalls and VPNs is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The DFIR Recovery Specialist will be accountable for overseeing, measuring, and driving efforts to systematically increase the maturity and effectiveness of cyber security incident response and recovery processes, setups, and controls for At-Bay’s Response and Recovery Team. They will gain and maintain an end-to-end understanding of relevant client landscape, engage with global and local operational Security & IT teams, collaborate with all relevant functions across the client base, and consult with external experts & stakeholders. The role involves providing deep security expertise in reviews of detection measures, post-mortem analysis of cyber incident responses, and IT recovery exercises, supporting and coordinating major real cyber security events, and providing assurance & evidence for security control objectives. Additionally, the Specialist will identify gaps in detection, response, and recovery controls, and drive security risk reduction activities.
