Requirements

Candidates should have at least 5 years of product management experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity managing other product managers or owners. Proven experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder products or platforms is required, along with experience in regulated industries like healthcare, insurtech, or HR tech. Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential, as is a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and make tough prioritization decisions. Experience defining and tracking KPIs and a balance of strategic thinking with a willingness to dive into details are also necessary. A Bachelor's degree is required, and experience with ICHRA, ACA, or other consumer-directed health benefits, familiarity with health insurance carriers, enrollment workflows, or EDI formats, and Agile certification or training are considered extra credit.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Manager will own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for Gravie’s ICHRA platform, encompassing employer onboarding, plan configuration, shopping, enrollment, payments, compliance, and internal tooling. They will lead and manage a team of Product Managers and Product Owners focused on distinct domains within the ICHRA ecosystem, setting strategic priorities and coordinating planning across multiple teams. This role involves partnering with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Experience to identify needs, align on solutions, and deliver roadmap outcomes. Responsibilities include ensuring the product team delivers high-quality specifications, manages backlogs effectively, and operates efficiently in Agile development environments. The individual will monitor platform performance, adoption, and operational outcomes to inform prioritization and iteration, communicate roadmap updates and launch milestones to leadership and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with applicable ICHRA regulations and industry best practices.

Gravie

Health benefits and insurance solutions provider

About Gravie

Gravie provides health benefits by offering straightforward and affordable health plans, primarily targeting individuals and small to midsize businesses. Their main product, Comfort, stands out because it has no deductible and no copays for most common healthcare services, allowing members to access care without unexpected costs. Additionally, Comfort includes virtual care options for musculoskeletal and mental health issues. Gravie also offers a payment solution called Gravie Pay, which enables members to pay for healthcare expenses interest-free, further easing financial stress. Unlike traditional health plans, Gravie claims that Comfort members save on out-of-pocket costs, and employers switching to Gravie often see lower premium expenses. The company has a high retention rate, indicating that many employees choose to continue with the Comfort plan in subsequent years. Gravie's goal is to simplify health benefits and reduce the financial burden of healthcare for its members.
