This role ensures the successful implementation of new P&C Insurance Product projects and strategic projects. The MSI Project Manager orchestrates and directs complex projects focused on new product development, collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial lines insurance
  • Experience launching insurance products from inception to completion
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments (Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Data & Analytics, and Application Development)
  • Experience interacting with business presidents and executive sponsors

Responsibilities

  • Proactively spearheads the comprehensive lifecycle of new Commercial Lines Product implementations.
  • Actively takes charge of assigned strategic projects, ensuring they deliver the intended results in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participates in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Demonstrates a quality forward, proactive approach to project management, consistently adding value to each project.
  • Consolidates, develops, documents, captures and maintains regular updates on significant end-to-end project milestones in project plans, setting stakeholder expectations for long-term success.
  • Utilizes industry product knowledge to collaborate with key stakeholders, innovating more efficient ways to manage project deliverables such as carrier formation, reinsurance placements, state regulatory authorization, product filings, bank accounts, compliance review, contracts/agreements, system delivery, etc.
  • Actively participates in business segment meetings, assisting the team in gathering information.
