Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate at least 7 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on platform products, and a proven track record of successfully leading technical teams end-to-end. Strong understanding of cloud-native databases, horizontal scaling, high availability, and storage engines is required, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. English language fluency is a mandatory requirement, and preference is given to candidates with working hours in East Coast American or European time zones.

Responsibilities

The Senior/Staff Product Manager will be responsible for delivering and evolving key customer-facing features of Timescale’s cloud platform, including horizontal scaling, high availability, and the new storage engine, while deeply understanding customer needs, identifying market trends, and defining product strategies. They will collaborate with design and engineering to build solutions, articulate product value, define pricing and packaging, and drive adoption through collaboration with product marketing, marketing, and sales teams, ultimately contributing to business outcomes and customer success.
