Position Overview

PlayStation Studios' new Partner Sourcing Group (PSG) is dedicated to delivering top-tier service, tools, processes, and support to our development teams. The PSG aims to enhance internal coordination and cost efficiencies for the overall business, acting as a central hub to align various business functions for the swift and seamless onboarding of our partners.

We are seeking a Senior Partner Specialist to transform our plans into action. In this role, you will collaborate with the Manager of Partner Sourcing – Operations to create and implement best-in-class solutions for PlayStation Studios clients and train a new team. You will work with external partnerships that complement and expand PlayStation Studios' internal capabilities. Your responsibilities will include anticipating needs, developing action plans, and securing buy-in from teammates, management, and other teams within SIE.

The Senior Partner Specialist is crucial in building a new operations team, optimizing and facilitating the onboarding of External Partners, and enhancing the outsourcing experience for PlayStation Studios. Your primary focus will be on providing air traffic control, process improvement, and a holistic approach to outsourcing.

Responsibilities

New Partner Activities and Partner Onboarding

  • Identify suitable partners for SIE in different regions aligned with business needs and provide recommendations.
  • Conduct market research, contact potential partners, and evaluate Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions.
  • Present findings to stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage pilot programs with suitable partners to support vendor-related strategies and the introduction of new SIE services.
  • Assist with vendor site visits (virtual or in-person), security audits, and report distribution as needed.
  • Complete loan and non-disclosure agreements for services provided to PlayStation Studios.
  • Coordinate information gathering via Partner ID cards for the Vendor Database.
  • Facilitate and expedite partner onboarding with InfoSec, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and IT departments.
  • Liaise with relevant Business Units (BUs) to improve onboarding processes.

Contract Management and Performance Evaluation

  • Assist the PSG with contract creation.
  • Audit invoices and process payments across multiple systems as required.
  • Track total spend and corporate/studio discounts per partner based on negotiated contracts.
  • Identify and maintain vendor performance metrics.
  • Provide performance evaluation feedback to vendors post-project.

Business Relationship Management

  • Develop collaborative relationships to ensure cross-functional collaboration with peers, departments, PlayStation Studios, and other functions.
  • Assist with scheduling attendance at industry events to connect with new and existing partners.
  • Maintain records of proposed, declined, allocated, and cancelled vendor workloads, along with studio feedback.
  • Maintain regular communication with external partners regarding changes and to capture issues.
  • Assist with the resolution of any vendor and studio-related queries or issues.
  • Coordinate and manage the provision of PlayStation Studios tools.
