Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Science, along with 4+ years of experience in channel/vendor management, lab supply industry, or startup environments. Experience in supplier marketing, including relationship building and pricing negotiation, is preferred. Strong reporting capabilities, including the ability to track performance and ROI, and expertise with Excel, Salesforce, and BI tools (Looker, etc.) are required. A can-do attitude and problem-solving skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Vendor Relations Manager will contribute to developing supplier/channel partner collaborations through clear communication, performance reporting, and data insights, ultimately building long-lasting, mutually beneficial growth partners. They will identify and implement enhancements to drive revenue and margin improvement, monitor and analyze the health of the vendor portfolio, and resolve escalated vendor cases/tickets. This role involves negotiating pricing and terms, executing supplier marketing campaigns, building strong vendor partnerships, improving cost of goods and margin trends, collaborating with teams to streamline operations, managing vendor catalog hygiene, and delivering performance reports to leadership and stakeholders.
