Candidates should possess a college or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. They should have at least 8 years of experience in High Availability and High Security Internet Data Center environments, along with 2+ years of public cloud experience preferred. Experience with automation and deployment frameworks is desired, and proficiency in documenting network designs and implementations is necessary. Familiarity with technologies such as Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Windows Server, VMWare, SD-WAN, and Network Virtualization is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
The Senior Network Engineer will design and implement functional network infrastructure and systems, analyze network information demands, adopt network security measures, monitor network performance, and cooperate with technology suppliers to offer business-focused solutions. They will provide technical leadership to teams, ensure network stability during updates, establish cross-functional connections, resolve escalated issues, configure firewalls and routing, utilize online resources for knowledge, and collaborate with network architects. Additionally, the role involves installing and configuring networking hardware, creating network security measures, mentoring junior staff, conducting performance tests, delegating maintenance tasks, drawing network status reports, and dealing with escalated support issues.
