Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of combined experience as a software, infrastructure, or security engineer. Demonstrated success in implementing, deploying, securing, and monitoring highly-available production systems is required. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and security technologies such as service identity, workload hardening, networking, authentication, authorization, and software supply chain is necessary. Familiarity with AWS IAM, Identity Center, Service Control Policies, and permission boundaries is essential. The role also requires the ability to translate technical and compliance requirements into engineering execution, and experience with software development, preferably in Golang. Experience with AWS, Terraform, Okta, Kubernetes, and Linkerd is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Security Engineer will design, build, and maintain tooling, software, and systems for securing cloud infrastructure. They will contribute to the delivery and success of infrastructure security projects that span multiple engineering teams. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with cross-functional partners to define optimal security solutions for the infrastructure, aiming to reduce friction while maintaining high software development velocity.
