Requirements

- Willingness to work weekends and holidays to meet customer project commitments

- Preferred
- 12+ years of professional functional/technical experience related to software development and systems design and deployment
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science, information systems)
- Experience with FactoryTalk PharmaSuite® or other MES applications in life sciences
- Understanding of MES domain knowledge
- Background within Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Devices industries
- Abstract thinking ability for developing technically sustainable, modern, performant, simple, maintainable solutions
Responsibilities
- Build partnerships at a functional requirement level with client counterparts
- Lead end-user manufacturing process discussions and process mapping, understanding pharmaceutical manufacturing processes in primary/secondary manufacturing, API, Biopharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and life sciences environments
- Lead workshops to analyze client user requirements and design solutions aligning to client needs and ANSI/ISA-88 standards
- Write Functional Design Specifications defining standard framework functions and custom code for site-specific needs
- Build migration strategies from previous MES systems or paper batch records to PharmaSuite®
- Perform fit-gap-analysis and configure functional aspects for commercial proposals and solution delivery
- Define integration strategies for MES to enterprise business systems, information management systems, and control level systems
- Author/review/implement project MES system validation plans (e.g., informal testing, integration test protocols, formal testing)
- Manage team expectations for using application code in Master Batch Records for internal partners or client staff
- Provide guidance on GAMP, GxP, FDA guidelines, and best practices
- Mentor technical and functional teams
- Build new business growth and client success by participating in presales meetings
