Requirements

  • Business / engineering school or university (Bac +5) with a focus on accounting, business, finance or economics
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of audit and transaction services experience at a top accounting firm (Big4 or equivalent) with at least 4 years in transaction services
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and team spirit required
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in supporting project teams/relationships and communications with clients
  • Experience across multiple sectors
  • Experience in go to market whilst driving business development strategy

Responsibilities

  • Drafting of FDD and VDD reports including: Quality of Earnings (helping the client identify one-off income costs which should not be considered within underlying earnings)
  • Drafting of FDD and VDD reports including: Net Working Capital “NWC” (identify the drivers of the evolution of NWC over the historical period and establish a NWC benchmark (peg))
  • Drafting of FDD and VDD reports including: Identification of debt like items from review of balance sheet and off-balance sheet arrangements
  • Drafting of FDD and VDD reports including: Forecasts (analytical skills to critically assess a target’s forecast and identify potential risks and upsides, based on historical trends, sales pipeline etc.)
  • Effectively manage day-to-day client interaction and relationships and emphasize our capabilities to clients
  • Be actively involved in our business development strategy alongside our Managing Directors
  • Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers
