Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a visionary and entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven ability to lead and innovate. Strong collaboration skills are essential for working across departments. Experience in developing and managing charging strategies for electric vehicles, including public charging, high power charging, eMSP/CPO partnerships, and home charging solutions, is required. Familiarity with technical integrations for charging features, vendor selection, and managing supplier relationships is also necessary. A deep understanding of customer satisfaction objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) is expected, along with the ability to analyze throughput and forecast charging needs.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Charging will develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for all charging offers, including public, high power, home, and facility charging, ensuring ongoing competitiveness and customer satisfaction. This role involves driving and coordinating cross-functional charging projects with R&D, Finance, Product Marketing, and retail operations to build, launch, and operate charging services profitably. Responsibilities include developing a cohesive charging strategy with features like Plug n Charge and AutoCharge, acting as a liaison for technical integrations with joint ventures, and managing relationships with Scout and suppliers for feature launches and mobile payments. The manager will also develop a unified Scout wallet for seamless payment experiences, lead vendor selection processes for public charging and retail facilities, and define retail charging requirements, equipment specifications, and operating guidelines in collaboration with construction and operations teams. Additionally, they will analyze annual throughput at retail locations to ensure sufficient charging capacity for new vehicle deliveries and service vehicles, monitoring growth and adjusting needs accordingly.
