Requirements

Candidates should possess 8+ years of professional experience, a Master’s degree in at least one database technology stack and product, and in-depth research experience with relevant content output. They should have a broad understanding of data technology, including RDBMS, distributed systems, and cloud-native data technologies. Furthermore, candidates must demonstrate diverse industry business and technology expertise, with a comprehensive understanding of industry scenarios, SaaS business models, and data architecture. Proficiency in scenario abstraction and aligning with data architecture, along with a proven track record in industry influence through presenting, evangelizing, and enabling field teams, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Head of Global Solutions Architect will lead the team to support business fleets in North America, EMEA, APAC, and Japan, ensuring achievement of relevant business metrics at the solution level. They will be responsible for market insight into global new economy industries, developing scenario-based industry solutions, and finding product entry strategies. The role involves advising and guiding customers on architectures and strategies for utilizing TiDB, developing trends in data technology, partnering with cloud vendors, establishing industry influence through sharing and disseminating best practices, and demonstrating expertise in selling databases and deploying applications with leading cloud providers.
