Requirements

  • Technical assistance and support for procedures using Electrophysiology (EP) products, including pre- and post-procedures
  • Regional EP support on an as-needed basis
  • Troubleshooting for highly complex medical devices
  • Assistance in supporting complex cardiac mapping procedures
  • Maintaining technical competence relative to best practices and the products offered in the marketplace
  • Developing and facilitating trainings and programs on Abbott products for healthcare professionals
  • Completing and forwarding pertinent patient information to patient tracking when required

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical assistance and support for procedures in which Electrophysiology (EP) products are used
  • Assists in the day-to-day management of various clinically-related issues
  • Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best business practices to execute processes
  • Exercises judgment in planning, organizing and performing work
  • Monitors performance and reports status to manager
  • Engages in activities and behaviors to become proficient in the servicing of accounts
  • Assists marketing personnel in support of advertising and promotional sales activities (as appropriate)
  • Ensures that all pertinent patient information is completed and forwarded to patient tracking when required
  • Responsible for the management of any assigned physical inventory
