Position Overview

iRhythm is seeking a highly motivated, field-based Territory Manager to drive adoption of the Zio Patch platform across major health systems within a defined region. This individual will focus on cardiology, electrophysiology, and other relevant stakeholders to grow iRhythm’s presence and build lasting clinical partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Business Development: Develop and close new business by building support from Electrophysiologists (EPs), cardiologists, and other clinical stakeholders. Target and identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales within the assigned territory.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to key prospects and customers to influence the adoption of the Zio Patch.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Consistently achieve territory sales goals and objectives.
  • Build Advocacy: Cultivate champions within facilities to help drive business growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Enhance iRhythm’s relationships with providers and systems through strategic partnerships with payer relations and billing teams.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and execute on a pipeline of sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Account Management: Partner with facilities to manage existing service business, including workflow management, inventory, and depth/breadth of product usage.
  • CRM Utilization: Utilize Salesforce.com to manage all aspects of business, including sales leads, daily activity, and report generation, providing timely and accurate feedback.
  • Business Planning: Cultivate a business plan and formulate sales strategies to attain revenue goals. Partner with sales leadership to identify and evaluate market opportunities and potential to establish and achieve annual sales objectives.
  • Promote iRhythm: Position iRhythm as a leader in cardiac diagnostics and monitoring.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
    • At least 3 years of medical device sales experience.
    • Cardiology, electrophysiology, and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated success in strategic sales planning and execution.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Highly adaptable, collaborative, and driven to exceed expectations.
    • Comfortable with travel, including overnight stays and occasional weekend commitments.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems preferred.

Field Commitment

This is a field-based role requiring approximately 4.5 days per week in the field and periodic overnight and weekend travel based on business needs.
