The Senior Data Engineer will design and build performant, scalable data models and SQL-based pipelines to support executive reporting solutions. Responsibilities include developing modular, maintainable, and well-documented DBT models, optimizing large datasets in Snowflake for query performance and resource efficiency, and implementing automated processes for data validation to ensure high data quality. The engineer will collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand reporting needs and translate them into reliable datasets, partner with business teams to implement key metrics consistently, and act as a liaison between business goals and technical implementation. Continuous monitoring and fine-tuning of data workflows, SQL queries, and cloud resources to improve performance, reduce latency, and optimize costs are also key duties.
