Candidates should have extensive experience writing code and a motivated approach to solving unknown problems. Required technical skills include experience with Go and Typescript (Node) web services, microservice-oriented architecture, backend/database and pub/sub systems (Postgres DB, OpenSearch, Redis), and cloud tooling such as AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Lambda, and Docker. The ability to work cross-functionally with other engineering and product teams is also essential.
The Senior Software Engineer will scale critical data pipelines to accommodate rapid workload expansion in the audio space, ensuring low pipeline latency and efficient handling of data ingestion. Responsibilities include building new features to support business needs, filtering noise from signal in acoustic data, enabling the detection of new threat types, and supporting time-sensitive workflows across the safety platform.
