Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of technical experience in data analysis. A minimum of 3 years of technical experience in SQL with advanced T-SQL skills is required, along with 2+ years of experience developing interactive reports using Power BI and Databricks. Advanced experience with large, complex datasets within major organizations and proficiency in analyzing data to solve business problems and create strategic visualizations are essential. Understanding of healthcare data and strong communication skills for executive leadership are also necessary. A quantitative advanced degree and experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Tableau, Qlik, data mining, forecasting, simulation, or predictive modeling are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will solve complex business problems by analyzing internal and external data to provide insights to decision-makers. This role involves evaluating situations and data to provide an in-depth analysis, describing the tools and technologies used for data collection, integration, analysis, and presentation. The engineer will also influence department strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components, working independently on assignments with considerable latitude.
