We are building a modern PostgreSQL cloud platform and seeking a Marketing Data Engineer to contribute to data-driven decision-making across the marketing funnel. This role will focus on analyzing marketing campaigns, creating dashboards, and sharing actionable insights to inform growth strategy. It’s perfect for a curious, analytical marketer who enjoys diving into data and working collaboratively to drive measurable results.

Requirements

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.).
  • Data Analysis Experience: Experience with analyzing large sets of data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
  • CRM/Marketing Automation Experience: Experience with CRM / marketing automation platforms (HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot trends and anomalies in data.
  • Organization & Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & Maintain Marketing Dashboards: Create and maintain dashboards to provide insights into campaign effectiveness and overall marketing performance.
  • Prepare Performance Reports: Prepare detailed reports on marketing campaign performance, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.
  • Measure Campaign Effectiveness: Measure the effectiveness of various marketing touchpoints and their impact on the customer journey.
  • Analyze Web Traffic: Monitor and analyze web traffic using tools such as Google Analytics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop Marketing Forecasts: Assist in developing marketing forecasts and budget allocation recommendations.
  • Analyze Spend Efficiency: Monitor and analyze spend efficiency across channels and provide insights into optimal budget distribution.
