Role Summary

The Senior Data Analyst for Onboarding will be instrumental in establishing and structuring onboarding analytics from the ground up. This role involves creating clarity and structure in a complex, evolving business area, developing insights, tools, and metrics to facilitate faster and smoother onboarding experiences at scale, and influencing both operational improvements and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development of a robust reporting framework for Onboarding, bringing structure and scalability to a currently fragmented ecosystem.
  • Partner closely with onboarding, product, and data teams to define key onboarding metrics, build dashboards, and enable self-serve analytics.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities across the onboarding journey using data.
  • Deliver insights to stakeholders across the company, from front-line teams to senior leadership, to inform strategic decisions and process improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reporting tools in Looker (or other BI tools), ensuring data is both reliable and actionable.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analytics engineers to model onboarding data and ensure pipelines are accurate and aligned with business logic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Math, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, with at least some exposure to operational or product-facing analytics.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to turn complex data into compelling narratives for a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker) and dashboard development.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, metric design, and scalable reporting.
