Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics, preferably within vertical B2B SaaS or tech-enabled, high-growth startup environments. Strong proficiency with SQL and experience manipulating complex datasets are required, with familiarity in Python or R being a plus. Expertise in building dashboards and visualizations using platforms like Looker, Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI is essential. Experience working with product managers and leaders to develop analytical insight-driven product roadmaps and market opportunities is also necessary, along with a deep understanding of SaaS products, product development processes, user experience, and customer behavior analysis. The role requires a high level of ownership, the ability to manage projects end-to-end, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The Senior Product Data Analyst will uncover key drivers of customer behavior and product adoption, translating findings into actionable recommendations to enhance engagement and growth. They will manage the full cycle of iterative data exploration, including hypothesis setting, data cleansing, insight visualization, and action planning. The role involves independently leading complex, strategic deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities for revenue, profitability, market penetration, customer retention, and sales productivity growth. Responsibilities include developing meaningful interpretations and recommendations that address business issues and drive action through engaging narratives and effective storytelling and visualization. They will also build scalable, intuitive dashboards to empower teams, serve as a trusted advisor communicating impactful data stories, and influence business strategy by anticipating trends and proactively evaluating initiatives. The analyst will act as a key consultant between the Data Analytics department and other business units, providing analytical support to ensure departments leverage data effectively in their operational strategies.
