Requirements

The candidate should have 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or a related strategic finance role. Prior experience managing or mentoring analysts is required, along with exceptional modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets and advanced knowledge of financial frameworks and ROI analysis. Familiarity with AI and automation tools such as ChatGPT, Google Apps Script, or CoPilot is necessary, as is comfort analyzing large data sets and proficiency in SQL.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Finance Manager will own FP&A cycles, including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reporting, while guiding business unit owners through strategic planning. They will mentor and develop a team of finance analysts/associates, build and present executive-ready models and dashboards for C-level stakeholders, and partner cross-functionally with leaders in Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Product & Engineering. Responsibilities also include leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, designing and implementing workflows, modeling business cases for initiatives and M&A, performing scenario planning and risk assessment, providing analytical support for fundraising and M&A, and driving continuous improvement in finance processes and tooling.
