Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in analytics, finance, engineering, or equivalent analytical and marketing experience is required. Prior experience in marketing analytics with a solid understanding of bid optimization, attribution, and performance marketing is necessary. Experience working with modern data solutions such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, DataBricks, or FiveTran is expected. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and transformation, along with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a track record of independently leading complex projects from scoping to delivery are essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst will identify and prioritize problems, develop and provide actionable solutions, and communicate results to business partners. Responsibilities include designing advanced modeling and analytical frameworks for marketing efficiency and optimization, such as performance marketing bid models and customer attribution. The role involves partnering with the data engineering team to develop data models and integrate new datasets into reporting for growth marketing. Collaboration with stakeholders in Marketing, Product, and Engineering to define project goals, align on deliverables, and communicate results is key. The analyst will conduct exploratory analysis to uncover insights, validate hypotheses, and shape strategic decisions, and write clear memos and presentations translating technical findings into actionable business insights. Driving work forward through structured planning, regular progress updates, and alignment checkpoints, and supporting a culture of continuous learning by mentoring junior analysts and sharing analytical best practices are also expected.
