Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with over 8 years of demonstrable channel management experience. Strong achievement against quota, extensive knowledge from sophisticated business situations, and experience growing top Distribution Managed Partners are required. Experience working with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing activities and demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for productivity enhancement are also necessary. The role requires comfort presenting technical and business material, the ability to work independently and remotely with a strong work ethic, and a willingness to travel over 50%.

Responsibilities

The Senior Channel Development Manager will manage and enable Channel Partners within the Cohesity Partner Ecosystem, building and managing account and partner plans, and growing pipeline strategically. Responsibilities include creating awareness, demand, and preference for company products and services, collaborating with partners to drive bookings, and identifying, recruiting, and developing new partners. The role involves forecasting partner pipeline conversion, developing and leading sales strategies and business plans for assigned partners, and enabling partner sales and technical teams. Tracking partner performance, delivering company strategy, identifying action plans to address gaps, and developing selling and services opportunities within partner organizations are key duties. The manager will also coordinate marketing activities and leverage Cohesity marketing resources for prioritization, execution, and ROI.
