Candidates must possess an advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, or PhD) with at least 2 years of experience in hematologic malignancy or cell therapy, or a Master's degree with extensive relevant clinical/medical affairs experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an MSL or in Medical Affairs within a relevant therapeutic area is required. Familiarity with healthcare systems and access environments, strong communication and presentation skills, personal integrity, and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential. The candidate must reside within the Southern California territory and be able to travel 50-70% domestically.
The Medical Science Liaison will establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals in the hematology space, developing and executing territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies. Responsibilities include partnering with field-based teams, delivering approved medical and scientific education, collecting insights from thought leaders to inform medical strategies, representing the company at conferences, and supporting clinical trial execution. The role involves acting as a key scientific resource and expert on cell therapy for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
