Requirements

  • 2-3 years of product sales in cyber security
  • University or Bachelor’s degree or directly related previous work experience
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface
  • Extensive selling experience within industry and on similar products
  • Typically 8-12 years of advanced sales experience
  • Advanced subject matter knowledge in SASE/cyber security, regarded as a subject matter expert
  • Ability to apply advanced knowledge to solve complex business issues, contribute to new ideas/methods, and lead/evaluate complex problems

Responsibilities

  • Create and drive sales pipeline, capture leads outside specialization, and use closed-loop lead management
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors to strategically position company’s products and services
  • Use specialty expertise to seek new opportunities, expand/enhance existing ones, and build pipeline to drive pursuit
  • Provide support to Account Managers with business development and solution expertise
  • Develop quota objectives and future direction for defined product category
  • Sell outsourcing deals (for some specialists)
  • Establish professional, consultative relationships with clients up to C-level for mid-to-large accounts, understanding unique business needs
  • Invest time working with/leverage external partners to deliver sales
  • For Services Consultants: Grow contractual renewals for mid-to-large accounts to higher total contract value
  • Direct or coordinate supporting sales activities
