Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry, or accounts
  • Seek out new opportunities by expanding and enhancing existing ones using advanced storage expertise
  • Create and drive the storage sales pipeline
  • Capture leads outside specialization and use closed-loop lead management
  • Collaborate with account pursuit teams for business development
  • Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curve through knowledge transfer in storage
  • Contribute to development of quota objectives and future direction for storage product lines
  • Direct and coordinate supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene with account managers, presales, channel partners, and stakeholders
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and account plan using internal sales tools
  • Collaborate across HPE teams for consistent business development and end-to-end account planning
  • Assess solution feasibility technically and from a business perspective to qualify-in/qualify-out
  • Negotiate and drive profitable deals to closure with high win rate
  • Drive sales of the storage portfolio through prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Establish professional, consultative relationships with clients
  • Leverage knowledge of competitors and trends to position HPE products/services
  • Work with channel partners to forge relationships, provide enablement, and co-sell
  • Lead, evangelize, and coordinate storage marketing campaigns aligned with account strategy
  • Act as trusted storage solutions consultant for accounts/region
  • Reinforce and articulate HPE strategy and portfolio to partners and champions for new opportunities
