Requirements

  • Strong commercial mindset with prior experience selling to, speaking to, or interacting with Risk personas
  • Understanding of fixed income / credit markets gained via experience at a financial institution, asset manager or financial data / technology firm
  • Strong communication, organization, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Confidence in meetings, presentations and dealing with senior executives and decision makers remotely or in person
  • Creative thinking and problem solving to drive solutions that address client needs with the RVS suite of solutions
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute on book of business/territory strategy and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Manage a sales territory
  • Build strong connection with other Market Intelligence stakeholders in region (e.g. Prospecting, credit customer success, and credit client services)
  • Be an internal ambassador in region for RVS across Business Units and divisions, collaborating closely with the Account Managers and Desktop Sales Specialists covering Iberia
  • Drive and track cross Business Unit, Cross Divisional and Synergy referrals and campaigns in region
  • Build relationship with local regulatory bodies to understand regulatory landscape and how the RVS suite can meet regulatory needs in region
  • Adopt structured and disciplined approach to tracking activity, pipeline accuracy and forecasting
  • Embrace a customer focused, diagnostic selling approach
  • Partner closely with other internal stakeholders, such as Product Management, Market Development, Legal and Client Support teams
  • Hit revenue targets through expanding existing products and selling new products across Credit, Global Insights and Data, Valuations and Risk Analytics
  • Represent the voice of the customer with input into product and commercial strategy, including senior leadership exposure in strategy and planning sessions
