Requirements

Candidates should have 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years of proven leadership directly managing a sales team. A demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding quota in a fast-paced environment is required, along with strong time management, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and collaborative selling skills. B2B selling, software, or SaaS experience is preferred, and strong business acumen is a must. A BS/BA or equivalent education and relevant experience are necessary, as are excellent customer service, oral, written, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn and adapt quickly, and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential. A vibrant and energetic attitude is also desired.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will oversee a sales team of 6-8 Account Executives, coaching, motivating, and influencing them to exceed quotas. They will conduct weekly 1:1s to review commits, pipeline, forecasting, and performance, and actively engage in sales cycles as a selling leader. This role involves traveling onsite to customers and events, leading and supervising teams under tight deadlines, building customer relationships, and training staff on company processes. The manager will identify needs for and drive process improvements, delegate authority and responsibility with accountability, and provide feedback to cross-functional departments as the voice of sales. They will also prioritize tasks, mentor direct reports, solve problems, drive results, and handle customer escalations, setting an example for Account Executives in character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
