Candidates must have experience working with Public Sector accounts, specifically in SLED (State, Local, & Education). A background in a customer-facing role, account management, or strategic consulting is required. A technical background with hands-on experience in SaaS-based technologies, preferably with AI and/or RPA experience, is also necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a self-motivated, proactive approach with innovative ideas are essential. Proven experience building strong internal and external relationships, along with diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure, are crucial. A team player attitude is also required.
The Sales Engineer will develop expertise in the unique challenges, regulations, and compliance standards of public sector organizations at the state and local level. They will collaborate with sales teams to tailor UiPath's Automation Platform solutions to meet public sector client needs, ensuring alignment with regulatory and security requirements. Responsibilities include conducting targeted product demonstrations, showcasing benefits and use cases for operational improvements and cost savings. The role involves engaging with public sector customers to gather and analyze technical requirements, translating them into practical automation solutions. Designing, configuring, and executing tailored Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) for public sector clients is also a key duty. The Sales Engineer will deliver technical presentations to diverse public sector stakeholders, effectively communicating the benefits and ROI of automation. They will collaborate with Sales Account Executives on sales strategies for public sector clients, providing technical expertise for complex procurement processes. Ensuring solutions meet stringent security and compliance standards, and addressing concerns related to data privacy, security, and auditing are critical. Finally, preparing and maintaining detailed technical documentation and case studies on successful public sector automation deployments is required.
