Candidates should possess experience working with clients and technology partners, selling and implementing Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software. They must be comfortable working with multiple decision-makers, presenting technical and business material to various groups, possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and be self-motivated and comfortable working remotely. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience is required, along with the ability to travel.
The Sales Engineer will uncover and drive new customer opportunities by providing sales and technical assistance, articulating Cohesity technology to both business and technical users. They will enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into their existing environments and respond to requests for information and proposals. Responsibilities include developing expertise in secondary storage technology strategy, communicating Cohesity's vision through demonstrations and white papers, identifying customer needs for proof of concepts, and collaborating with product management on product development. Project management and post-sales technical support may also be required.
