The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading Federal National Security/Intel Community sales teams and possess a Security Clearance (TC/SCI preferred). A proven track record of annual overachievement, experience leading sales teams that sell through security channel partners, and expertise in navigating complex sales cycles are essential. The role also requires experience with SAAS sales, specifically in cloud, logs, metrics, IT operations, and security, along with a background in successfully selling large deals to large enterprises (Fortune 1000) and experience using MEDDIC. Experience developing pipeline and opening new accounts is also required, with a bonus for background in Cloud, Security, or Machine Learning.
The Federal Sales Director will recruit, develop, and lead a team of 5-7 Federal National Security/Intel Community Sales Representatives across a specific geography, focusing on building the team and future sales leaders for Cribl. Responsibilities include developing a business plan to overachieve sales goals, managing and maintaining the sales ecosystem from lead generation through closing, and playing a key role in developing the Go-To-Market strategy as part of the leadership team. Occasional duties outside standard working hours may be required due to the remote-first nature of the company.
