This role is for an experienced Sales Director specializing in intelligence solutions for cybersecurity, targeting physical security teams within the Defense industry. If you thrive in a scaling organization with a mission that has a real-world impact, this is an excellent opportunity to support Flashpoint National Security Solutions (FNSS), with a primary focus on solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD).

Responsibilities

  • Generate new pipeline and close SaaS and service deals within the Defense communities.
  • Increase sales to national, regional, and local governments in the United States.
  • Collaborate effectively with channel partners, Value Added Resellers, and System Integrators to drive sales.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships using a customer-centric, solution-based sales approach.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Partner with technical and non-technical colleagues to ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Act as a self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of working with minimal oversight.
  • Negotiate complex software solutions and service deals with procurement teams.
  • Maximize the use of CRM platforms and emerging sales tools.
  • Travel to clients within the assigned region as required.
  • Build pipelines and own deals through to closure.

What You Will Achieve

  • Within 30 days:
    • Complete a prospect list and initiate initial outreach.
    • Introduce yourself to current customers within your vertical.
  • Within 60 days:
    • Develop an outreach cadence using multiple channels for yourself and the business development team.
    • Drive Flashpoint’s brand and solutions through your professional network.
  • By 90 days:
    • Complete all product sales training.
    • Begin generating new pipeline.
    • Conduct demos and Proofs of Value (POVs) with the assigned Solutions Architect.
    • Be well on your way to closing new or upsell business deals.

Requirements

  • An active Top Secret clearance.
  • Legal residence and physical presence within the United States.
  • Proven ability to generate new pipeline and close SaaS and service deals in the Defense communities.
  • Track record of increasing sales to national, regional, and local governments in the United States.
  • Keen understanding of government intelligence and/or cyber operations, developed as a former practitioner in defense, law enforcement, intelligence, or cyber operations.
  • Proven track record in government sales, acquisitions, or interagency experience.
  • Proven track record in Software Sales with an interest in Vulnerability Management and Cyber Threat Intelligence.
  • Deep understanding of the public sector and government communities, including their operational functions and sales processes.
  • Understanding of products and the outcomes of consultative selling.
  • Willingness to travel to clients within your assigned region when required.
  • Desire to build pipelines and own deals to close.
