Requirements

Candidates should have a strong interest in building a career in SaaS sales, clear and confident communication skills (verbal and written), and an interest in business operations, finance, or the food and beverage industry. They must be comfortable making cold calls and writing prospecting emails, organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high-volume outreach pipeline, self-motivated, eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, and a team player who values feedback and coaching. Experience with or willingness to learn modern sales and automation tools is required, along with a BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. Prior SDR or outbound sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Sales Development Representative will identify new business opportunities by using modern sales tools to find businesses within Wholesail's ideal customer profile. They will engage with prospects at scale via cold calling, emailing, and social selling, and promote urgency through a solutions-based sales approach. Responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives to identify winning outbound prospecting strategies, developing a deep understanding of Wholesail's value proposition and products to communicate benefits effectively, adapting and thinking on their feet to overcome challenges, and consistently attaining and exceeding monthly quotas. The role is designed to develop skills for strategic, high-impact selling, working closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to create a pipeline and move accounts through the early stages of the sales process.
