Requirements

The candidate must be based in Australia or New Zealand and possess at least 2 years of experience as an outbound Sales Development Representative. They should have an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong growth mindset, excellent written communication skills for crafting effective email copy and sequence campaigns, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Experience in HR or Fintech companies, working at a fast-growing startup, and previous success in a remote and distributed team are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Sales Development Representative will generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media. They will identify and qualify prospective clients by understanding their needs and challenges, and schedule product demonstrations for qualified prospects with Account Executives. The role also involves collaborating with sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation strategies, consistently achieving monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation, and maintaining accurate CRM records. Participation in regular sales training and professional development is also expected.
