Position Overview

Fleetio is seeking an experienced and driven Outbound Sales Development Manager to lead and scale our outbound sales initiatives. The primary objective of this role is to generate qualified leads for our Account Executive team by managing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). You will be instrumental in coaching, monitoring, and enhancing the effectiveness of the SDR team as they engage potential customers through phone, email, and other communication channels to generate interest in Fleetio's software.

Your Impact

  • Lead a dedicated team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on cold-calling prospects, educating the market about Fleetio, and generating new customer opportunities.
  • Develop the SDR team through ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring in sales processes, skills, best practices, and supporting tools.
  • Manage individual and team performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular feedback during weekly 1-on-1 meetings.
  • Analyze and report on key metrics and forecasts to management, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
  • Build and scale a hiring process to expand the SDR team as business needs grow.
  • Foster a positive, high-performing culture within the Sales Development team.
  • Align compensation strategies with company goals to drive motivation and results.
  • Act as a data-driven change agent, contributing strategic input to the business.
  • Lead the team to consistently exceed sales quotas.

Your Experience

  • Results-driven with a competitive spirit, high energy, and a focus on activity.
  • Previous cold calling experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales leadership experience.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills; capable of influencing and persuading prospects.
  • Highly organized and efficient with strong project management abilities.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, including interactions with C-suite executives.
  • A strong understanding of and passion for lead generation processes and their critical role in business success.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and its potential to enhance productivity.
  • Bonus points: Knowledge of cars and engines.
