Requirements

Candidates must possess excellent communication and conversation skills. A Bachelor's degree and experience in tech sales are preferred. Experience in outbound calling and engaging with disruptive technology-based messaging is required, along with the ability to make a high volume of outbound calls and communicate effectively with Tech Architects and CTO executives. Familiarity with technology and industry trends, especially in cloud native and data solution selling, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sales Development Representative will collaborate with the sales team to develop target prospect lists and coordinate sales efforts. They will identify potential leads, research their business challenges, and engage them to understand their needs. Responsibilities include creating demand through cold calls, emails, networking, and social selling to build a pipeline of warm leads. The role involves nurturing leads using demand response and management processes to effectively communicate the Yugabyte value proposition and secure sales meetings. Additionally, they will prepare clear account opportunity information for booked meetings, engage with prospects during the early sales cycle, use data analysis to improve campaigns, and accurately maintain customer information and activity records in the CRM.
