Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a Billing, Customer Support, Account Management, or Retention role, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based environment. Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational, and time management skills are required, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Familiarity with Salesforce, Five9, and common billing platforms is preferred.
The Billing Specialist will respond to customer billing inquiries via phone, email, and cases, manage open case queues for timely resolution, and assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing concerns, serve as a subject matter expert for complex billing scenarios, and execute retention strategies by handling downgrade or cancellation requests. Additionally, the role involves supporting reporting needs, providing insights into billing issues, and participating in projects for process improvement.
