A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in a sales-related role, such as SDR or BDR, preferably within the technology, SaaS, or EdTech sectors, is necessary. A proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, KPIs, or metrics is essential, along with experience in cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation. Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, sales engagement tools such as Outreach.io or Salesloft, and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace are also required. Candidates based in Illinois or Michigan will be prioritized.
The Sales Development Representative will serve as the primary point of contact in the sales process, identifying and engaging with key decision-makers in the education and workforce development sectors. Responsibilities include conducting outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to introduce Transfr's solutions. This role involves researching target organizations, understanding prospect pain points, and crafting tailored outreach strategies. The SDR will also qualify leads through initial discovery conversations, collaborate with Account Executives to build the sales pipeline, and track/report on key performance indicators. Additionally, the representative will work cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams to provide feedback and improve the customer experience.
