Candidates must be authorized to live and work in the United States and be based in New York City. They should have an interest in sales and experience in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. Strong communication skills are essential, along with time management abilities. Fluency in additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Japanese is a plus, as is familiarity with Salesforce and/or Outreach, and professional experience in the commercial art world.
The Sales Development Associate will generate outbound leads through cold calling and email campaigns, follow up on marketing-generated leads, and conduct research to assess partnership opportunities. They will effectively communicate Artsy’s value proposition to galleries, qualify warm leads for Sales Managers, and schedule product demonstrations. Additionally, they will test and improve outreach campaign effectiveness while meeting core KPIs such as daily dials, meetings booked, and activations.

Artsy connects art collectors with galleries, artists, and art fairs through its digital platform. It provides tools and resources that help art businesses enhance their online presence and increase sales. Artsy's services include brand building, marketing strategies, sales optimization, and collector relations, which are designed to assist clients in navigating the art market. The platform generates revenue through subscription fees from galleries and artists, as well as commissions on sales made through its site. Additionally, Artsy offers webinars and expert discussions to provide valuable insights to its users. The goal of Artsy is to support art businesses in growing their reach and engaging with a wider audience in the digital space.
