Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in Sales or Applications Engineering, with prior experience in direct and/or distributor sales of Automation products such as Controllers, PLCs, Motors, Actuators, Cylinders, Drives, Sensors, Regulators, and/or Robotics. They should also be able to serve general Industrial clients and work effectively from a home office with occasional travel.
The Sales Account Manager will develop and maintain strong client relationships with OEM customers, ensuring products are specified to maximize revenue and margin. They will also obtain specifications and approvals, develop comprehensive technical knowledge of products and competitive offerings, keep management informed of market changes, participate in strategic planning, provide product training, motivate distributors, and actively support cross-divisional and other group products.
