Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment by greeting, assisting, selling, and responding to customer inquiries/needs
  • Provide strong leadership presence on sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Manage day-to-day sales floor operations (opening/closing, cash handling, POS management)
  • Achieve sales targets and maximize profitability through selling, merchandising, promotions, upselling
  • Partner with store support teams to increase sales, promote categories, expand markets
  • Support Store Manager in managing expenses/budgets (labor, supplies, operations)
  • Use company tools to diagnose opportunities and develop action plans for store performance
  • Monitor inventory, participate in management to avoid out-of-stocks/overstocking
  • Support Store Manager in staff training, feedback, coaching, performance evaluations
  • Ensure correct pricing, signage, displays
  • Receive vendor deliveries and stock sales floor timely
  • Control inventory stock levels and reorder within budget
  • Enforce company policies/procedures (health, safety, security)
  • Maintain clean, organized, welcoming store environment
