Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience, with more than 5 years of proven experience supporting test floor operations. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required, along with computer literacy and basic data analysis skills. The candidate must be flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations, demonstrating a very high problem-solving ability and being a self-starter capable of leading own activities as well as supporting team activities.

Responsibilities

The Test Floor Engineer will process material through various equipment such as testers, handlers, and sorting equipment, utilizing basic to higher-level technical and troubleshooting skills for debugging hardware and software issues on the Amkor test floor. They will monitor pre-test preparation of material and hardware, set up the test environment as per engineer requests, ensure testing is executed and functioning as required throughout the testing process, debug and resolve equipment and test-related issues, communicate with local planning, engineering, and management teams, and connect with NVIDIA engineers at remote locations using various communication methods. The engineer will also work in a team environment and independently, handling off-shift work with minimum supervision, and working during night shifts when required for NPI or production issues.
