Requirements

Candidates must have a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field, along with 3+ years of proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or Renewals Manager. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-level, is essential. Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and CPQ tools, along with experience delivering client-focused solutions, is required. Understanding of startup growth strategies and KPIs, previous experience using account management software, excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities, and strong verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Renewals Manager will own a portfolio of existing customers, striving to create long-term, trusting relationships and maximize customer retention through negotiating complex contracts. They will develop new business from existing customers, build and maintain long-lasting client relationships, and connect with key business executives and stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing customer-facing presentations and pricing, answering client queries, identifying new business opportunities, and liaising with cross-functional internal teams to improve the customer experience. The role involves serving as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, negotiating contracts to maximize profits and minimize churn, and ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions. The Renewals Manager will communicate progress of initiatives, forecast and track key account metrics, prepare reports on account status, and collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities, while also assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations.
