Requirements

  • Typically, 10+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
  • Strong background in the insurance industry, with a focus on Reinsurance; experience with both Property and Casualty and Life and Wealth is ideal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders at all organizational levels and build rapport quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Comfortable learning and demonstrating complex solutions and systems; experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team
  • Strong understanding of industry trends (business and statutory), competitor offerings, and client challenges
  • Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and delivery teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to support opportunities through discovery calls, qualifying prospects, and delivering tailored solution demonstrations
  • Lead and contribute to Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and other RFx responses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs
  • Deliver compelling product demos that highlight key features and benefits to prospects and customers
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client challenges and determine fit for Assumed and Ceded Reinsurance solutions
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market shifts, providing insights to the sales team
  • Represent the company at industry events, engaging with prospects and promoting solutions
  • Travel as needed for on-site meetings, conferences, and trade shows
  • Maintain an understanding of competitor offerings and how our solutions differentiate in the market
  • Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with client needs
