Requirements

Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience selling technical products, with a preference for open source, DevOps, or security experience. A minimum of 3 years managing high-performing software sales teams is required, along with experience with CSP marketplaces and a proven track record of exceeding performance objectives. Experience selling to Fortune 500 companies, existing enterprise customer relationships in the UK and/or Nordics, and proficiency with CRM and marketing automation systems are essential. The role also requires strong relationship building, negotiation skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with effective judgment. Ability to travel as needed is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Regional Director will report to the VP of International Sales and manage a team of 5-7 Enterprise Account Executives, driving and executing the team's business and revenue. Key responsibilities include building a collaborative team environment, improving AE onboarding and ramping processes, preparing forecasts, managing territories and growth plans, and establishing metrics to measure team performance. The role involves driving alignment with supporting teams such as marketing, customer success, BDR, sales engineering, and customer engineering, and setting the strategy for Chainguard's largest accounts.
