Requirements

Candidates should possess an Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. They must have at least 10 years of experience in business development or field sales within the industrial heat pump market, along with a strong understanding of client requirements and tender specifications. In-depth technical knowledge of various heat pump applications, including district heating and food & beverage sectors, is required, as well as familiarity with the European market and the ability to develop business opportunities. Multilingual proficiency in English, combined with fluency in one or more languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, or German, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Development Manager will provide business development support to the sales network across Europe (and US) in the Heat Pump Market, delivering technical insights from industrial heat pump applications to support the development and marketing introduction of PX G (Pressure Exchange Device). They will attend customer meetings with the R&D team to discuss technical development and application, manage business development efforts including pipeline tracking, sales forecasting, and bookings, and promote industrial heat pump solutions and products, driving market growth and customer engagement. Additionally, they will define and implement strategic initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership and the marketing team, and collaborate with sales leadership to optimize sales strategies.
