Candidates must possess a minimum bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is required, along with the ability to interact with all levels of staff at customer locations and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships. Experience in sourcing, sales, and closing new business, as well as an understanding of skilled nursing facilities, hospice, home care, or similar industries, is necessary. A valid driver's license is also required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, is expected, with Salesforce experience being a plus. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team are essential.
The Regional Business Manager will engage existing and prospective customers to offer behavioral health solutions and oversee all operations for their assigned region. This role involves routinely visiting facilities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to expand services. Responsibilities include proactively addressing negative trends, clinical service delivery issues, and facility requests or concerns, while also providing field support to the clinical team. The manager will ensure referrals and related processes run as designed, monitor activity to meet facility needs, and grow facility caseloads to ensure customer satisfaction. Key duties involve interfacing with facility administrators, directors of nursing, and directors of social services, responding immediately to urgent calls, and facilitating problem-solving. The role includes working collaboratively with business development staff to support new business, set and achieve regional goals, and support marketing strategy. Developing plans to manage and improve under-performing facilities, networking within the long-term care and mental health sectors, and performing other assigned tasks are also part of the responsibilities.
