Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of professional project management experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to leading and directing project tasks. A combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements is also acceptable. Preferred qualifications include experience in a lead role on projects, health plan and PBM experience, strategy development, and vendor management. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is also preferred.
The Project Manager will identify and implement small to medium projects, both business and technical in nature, to achieve unit or corporate goals. Responsibilities include developing planning documents, project charters, communication plans, and deployment plans. The role involves leading project meetings, managing scope changes, maintaining project documents, securing necessary skill sets, setting expectations, providing performance feedback, maintaining an issue log, resolving issues, executing communication plans, reporting status, managing ROI, tracking time and budget, developing testing strategies, and conducting project close-out activities. This role operates within defined parameters using project management methodology and requires working with moderate guidance.
