Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining proactive relationships with LSIC clients and partners, clearly communicating CIC & LSIC’s Events program philosophy and guidelines for hosting various events, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats
  • Managing the Events team's annual budget, developing the Events program's objectives and initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and partners, and engaging in ROI analysis and community feedback mechanisms to refine CIC's event offerings
  • Managing all facets of event execution at LSIC, from initial inquiries and event coordination to post-event evaluation, including handling logistics, utilizing event management software, coordinating with building management, ensuring policy compliance, and leveraging marketing channels for event promotion in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of event spaces and AV equipment, suggesting and implementing improvements, and coordinating event staffing, setup, and breakdown with CIC staff to ensure smooth event operations
  • Supporting marketing initiatives through maintaining strong relationships with key Osaka organizations, helping to inform local market priorities, identifying marketing opportunities, and tracking and analyzing outcomes
  • Orchestrating a diverse range of events, including planning and executing industry-specific gatherings, startup workshops, and community engagement events with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Marketing and managing event coordination operations and supporting event programs
  • Fostering relationships with the local innovation ecosystem to benefit the community and connect clients, collaborative partners, and the local community
